In the bustling halls of the senior high school department, one student’s journey stands out as a testament to perseverance and passion. Meet Annalia Raishe, a young student journalist whose relentless pursuit of excellence has propelled her from humble beginnings to national
recognition.
Annalia’s path is marked by resilience in the face of adversity. “There are a lot of struggles before being successful as a student journalist,” she reflects. Despite facing rejection and tight deadlines, she remained steadfast in her commitment to writing and expanding her imagination. “My category back then was Editorial Writer. However, I couldn’t surpass every Division School Press Conference, so during Junior High School, I didn’t try again, nor did I join other organizations in our school.”
With each obstacle, she honed her skills, eventually bravely re-entering the world of journalism in the 12th grade. “I was lucky to have the opportunity to compete again at the Division level. I was confident that I was going to make it to Regionals.” As her journey progressed, her writing skills impressed those around her despite the challenges she faced. “After eight years of not being able to surpass the Division level, I became a first-time National Qualifier,” she recounts. It’s a reminder that with passion, dedication, and unwavering belief in yourself, anything is possible.
