The Opening Rites of NCAA South Season 25 were successfully hosted by Emilio Aguinaldo College Cavite on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. The theme for this milestone season, ‘Celebrating Legacy of Excellence and Unity Through Sports,’ set a poignant tone for the event, highlighting the core values of teamwork, dedication, and camaraderie.
NCAA South Season 25 brings together 11 participating schools, each proudly displaying their flags and colors. The gymnasium of EAC Cavite was filled with 310 student-athletes representing the EAC Vanguards and EAC-ICA Brigadiers, marking the beginning of an exciting season of competition and sportsmanship.
Mr. Jose Emmanuel Eala, a prominent figure in Philippine sports, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor. Known for his contributions to athletics, he emphasized the importance of mental strength in achieving success and winning championships. Atty. Paulo E. Campos, Jr., the Policy Board President, officially opened the games, urging everyone to showcase their determination and talent on the field.
The integration of the participating schools, the motivational words from our esteemed guests, and the anticipation of upcoming games serve as a catalyst for uniting communities and fostering a spirit of excellence and unity.
